Accreditation
Accreditation is one of the most effective ways for the Heartland
Health Region to regularly and consistently examine and improve the
quality of our services. By participating in the Qmentum accreditation
program the Heartland Health Region evaluates its performance against
national standards of excellence. These standards examine all aspects of
health care, from patient safety and ethics, to staff training and
partnering with the community. Heartland Health Region employees devote
their time to learn how to improve what they are doing in order to
provide the best possible care and service for their patients and
clients.
The Heartland Health Region is accredited by Accreditation Canada.
The last on-site survey took place in June 2013 with the next on-site
evaluation scheduled for June 2017.
