The Gastrointestinal Illness outbreak has been lifted effective July 19, 2017. Visitor restrictions are no longer in place.
Dr. David Torr, Consulting Medical Health Officer for the Heartland Health Region has declared an outbreak of gastrointestinal illness in the Wilkie and District Health Centre – Long Term Care effective July 17, 2017. Specimens have been sent to the lab to identify the cause.
